If you are looking for the commercial terms of the service, see the Terms & Conditions. If you need customer workload processing context, see the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) page.

3. Data We Collect

3.1 Account and Onboarding Data

DevOps Central may collect:

  • first name
  • last name
  • email address
  • occupation
  • address
  • optional phone number

3.2 Billing and Invoicing Data

For company customers, DevOps Central may collect or use:

  • company name
  • VAT ID
  • registration number

Some company information may also be validated or completed using public business records based on the VAT ID.

For B2C customers, billing uses the personal and account details already collected during onboarding.

3.3 Support and Operational Communications

Support and operational interactions are tied to the authenticated account context. DevOps Central does not require separate support-specific personal data fields beyond the account identity already used to access the service.

3.4 Technical and Security Logs

DevOps Central collects generic platform logs by default for operational and security purposes.

Customer-correlated logs may be collected when:

  • they are required for troubleshooting
  • they are requested by the customer
  • they are part of a Co-Managed service scope

3.5 Payment Data

Payment processing is delegated to PayU GPO. DevOps Central does not store card data or payment instrument details.

4. Why We Process Personal Data

DevOps Central processes personal data to:

  • create and manage customer accounts
  • deliver infrastructure and related services
  • verify, issue, and manage invoices
  • process payments through payment providers
  • provide support and operational communication
  • protect the platform, accounts, and infrastructure
  • comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

Depending on the context, DevOps Central may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract
  • compliance with a legal obligation
  • legitimate interests, such as service security, fraud prevention, and operational reliability
  • consent, where consent is specifically requested for an optional activity

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

DevOps Central does not use analytics or tracking tools.

Strictly necessary cookies, sessions, or local storage may be used for:

  • login and authentication
  • security
  • user preferences
  • portal functionality

7. Processors and Third Parties

DevOps Central uses the following external providers:

  • PayU GPO for payment processing
  • Brevo for email delivery
  • Keez.ro for accounting-related processing

Other core services are hosted and maintained by DevOps Central in its own data center in Romania.

This page describes the service setup at a high level. If a customer-specific agreement adds or changes processors for a particular service scope, that agreement controls for the covered service.

8. International Transfers

DevOps Central does not transfer customer personal data outside the European Economic Area as part of the service setup described in this policy.

9. Customer Workload Data

If you use DevOpsCentral infrastructure to host or process personal data in your own workloads, you are generally the controller for that workload data.

DevOps Central does not decide the business purpose of customer-controlled workload processing.

DevOps Central acts as a hosting provider and, where applicable, a processor only to the extent needed to provide the underlying services, carry out support or troubleshooting, meet security obligations, or comply with law.

10. Retention

DevOps Central keeps personal data only for as long as it is needed for the relevant operational, contractual, security, and legal purpose.

  • Account data is kept while the account is active and may be retained afterward where needed for security, dispute handling, fraud prevention, or compliance.
  • Billing, invoicing, and accounting-related records are kept for the retention period required by applicable accounting and tax law.
  • Payment instrument data is not retained by DevOps Central because payment handling is delegated to PayU GPO.

11. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • access your personal data
  • request correction of inaccurate data
  • request deletion of data
  • request restriction of processing
  • object to certain processing
  • request data portability where applicable
  • file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

To exercise your rights, contact privacy@devopscentral.eu.

DevOps Central may request reasonable information to verify identity and the scope of the request before acting on a rights request.

12. Security and Data Sovereignty

DevOps Central operates its own data center in Romania and positions its services around EU-based infrastructure and data sovereignty.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are applied based on the service context, including platform security, access control, and operational safeguards. The exact customer-level responsibility split still depends on whether the service is Self-Managed or Co-Managed.

13. Changes to This Policy

DevOps Central may update this policy from time to time to reflect legal, operational, or service changes.

Updated versions will be published in the legal section of this documentation site or otherwise made available through the relevant service or ordering flow.
