Cluster Owner Role

Creating a new user and assigning it the Cluster Owner role, will grant the following capabilities:

• Create multiple clusters in Rancher, using the available infrastructure (e.g., OpenStack resources).
• Manage all aspects of the clusters they create, including adding/removing nodes, modifying settings, and configuring networking, storage, and security.
• Create and manage projects and namespaces within their clusters.
• Invite and manage other users within the clusters they own, assigning them roles like Project Owner or Cluster Member.

Note

The Cluster Owner role gives the user full administrative rights over any cluster they create, including the ability to create multiple clusters as long as they stay within their OpenStack resource limits.
